We are so proud of Mixed Remixed Festival fave, Nicole Gomez Fisher.  A few weeks ago we were happy to report that Sleeping with the Fishes (which we screened at the Festival in June) got 5 nominations for THE IMAGEN AWARDS and our very own Nicole Gomez Fisher took home the prize for Best Director!  You can see the award show and Nicole’s great-looking dress when the award show airs on Saturday on PBS!  Check your local listings. But the news gets better and better.  If you missed the Festival screening of Nicole’s great film, you now have a chance to watch Sleeping with the Fishes on HBO (yes HBO!), or better yet, buy a copy from Amazon and add it to your Mixed experience film collection.  The DVD official release is Oct. 21, but you can pre-order now!

It’s imperative that we support our artists so our stories of the Mixed experience continue to be told!  So if you’re looking for one more way to help support Nicole and her great flick: add Sleeping with the Fishes to your Netflix queue!
