Don’t miss this wonderful multiracial conference at UCLA. The Mixed Student Union is the only club on the UCLA campus dedicated to students who identify as mixed race, multiethnic, multicultural, or transnational. Our annual conference aims to connect various mixed heritage students and communities throughout California and focuses on the various perspectives that every individual brings to the greater mixed community. We hope this event will allow students, faculty, and other members of the community to come together and discuss issues affecting those of mixed heritage. We loved having you at our conference two years ago, and we hope you can make it!
The conference will take place on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 from 10am – 4pm at the James West Alumni Center on the UCLA campus. There will be a keynote speaker, performance, and various workshops throughout the day. The event is open to the public, and free. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, with registration (link here). Please feel free to attend any portion of the conference that you are interested in, and let me know if you have any questions. I hope to see you there!
